I may live on the East Coast now, but Colorado will always be home. I grew up here from age 6 to 18, and to me, it was pure magic. The mountains were my backyard, the air was crisp, and there was always something to do, no matter the season. I went to Creek (Cherry Creek High School), known for its casually impressive alumni (and a South Park mention), and by late high school and early college, I spent plenty of time in Boulder, soaking up the energy of CU—even though it wasn’t my school. Go Buffs.
The thing about Colorado? It stays with you. Whether you’re here for adventure, incredible food, or just some fresh air to reset your soul, there’s something for everyone. If you’re planning a trip, here’s my advice: drink a ton of water on the plane (the altitude will humble you), and bring the whole family—this place is meant to be shared
